  • Welcome to Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club

     

    Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club (KCTC) is located in the village of Kilfeacle Co. Tipperary. Established in the 1980s as a community tennis club, it has grown to almost 350 members across all ages drawing from the Tipperary region and beyond.

    The club has excellent facilities including three start-of-the-art LED floodlit courts, a dedicated practice wall and a secure play area for small children. Internal leagues run for 25 weeks of the year which see up to 140 members partake each week. These leagues are graded and suitable for all players from beginners right up to grade 1/2 players. In addition, the club also runs a number of internal ladders to provide members with additional matchplay. The club has an online booking facility for easy reservation of courts.

    KCTC is a Munster Tennis and Tennis Ireland affiliated club and KCTC is represented across all Grades throughout Munster and all Ireland competitions including the Munster Tennis Summer Cup and Winter League.

    2022 Membership Now Open for New Members

    Are you or someone you know looking to join KCTC in 2022?     KCTC Winter 2021 Adult Coaching

    KCTC Winter 2021 Adult Coaching is now open for registration. This coaching session is suitable for beginners and is open to members and non-members. Coaching sessions will take place at 7pm for 1 hour on the following Thursday evenings: 18th November 2021 25th November 2021 2nd December 2021 13th January  2022 20th January 2022 27th January 2022 Registration can be complete at the KCTC payment page at: https://kilfeacletennis.ie/payments/

    November 2021 Leagues Entries

    Our November 2021 league is now open for entries. This league will commence on Monday 1st of November with finals night on Friday 10th December. You can enter directly at the https://kilfeacletennis.ie/payments webpage. Where the number of entries for a specific night is greater than the number of places available, entries will be prioritised based on the date of entry (first come, first served). Entry will close on Sunday the 24th October at 6pm or as soon as nights are full.

    Junior Tennis Coaching September 2021

    Open for new and current members. Junior tennis coaching will begin here in Kilfeacle on the week of Monday 6th of September 2021. This year will see a greater number of sessions and smaller group sizes to allow for more individualised instruction for each participant. This term of coaching will run for 8 weeks. Sessions will be limited to a maximum of 8 kids per coach (8-1) and as low as 6-1 for some groups. The cost for the 8 weeks (8 x 1-hour sessions) is €60. A 10% discount will be refunded (post-payment) for each additional sibling in coaching. A 10% discount will also be refunded on the second session where more than one session is completed a week. Where only one coach is present for each weekly session, each parent will be asked to be at the club for 1 of the 8 weeks to supervise from outside the court area.     Improver Adult Tennis Lessons June 2021

    Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club is starting a new four-week session of group-based tennis lessons for adult improvers starting on Thursday 3rd June for 4 weeks at 8 - 9pm each Thursday. Classes are limited to KCTC members and are designed for players that are looking to improve from a beginners level.     Beginner Adult Tennis Lesson June 2021

    Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club is starting a new four-week session of group-based tennis lessons for adult beginners starting on Thursday 3rd June for 4 weeks at 7 - 8 pm each Thursday. Classes are limited to 8 participants and will be delivered by two coaches (Eamonn Morrissey and Jacinta Coman).     Get Involved in KCTC

    Get Involved in KCTC  KCTC is a non-profit, volunteer-based organisation that depends on its members to operate. All members are welcome and encouraged to assist in any way possible. There are two ways to get involved in the club. Sign up to the KCTC volunteer list here. This is a list of members that are willing to help from time to time.
