As the days get longer and the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to step back onto the court and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at Kilfeacle Community Tennis Club. In this edition, we bring you the latest updates on upcoming events, news, and the special occasions we're looking forward to this upcoming season. Whether you’re competing, learning, or simply here for social tennis, there's something for everyone in the weeks and months ahead. Let’s look into what’s happening here in KCTC.

Golden Vale Tennis Ladder Update
Latest news from the Golden Vale Tennis Ladder! With 224 entries from 11 different clubs, we have raised an impressive €4,568 for Circle of Friends. The finals are set to take place right here in Kilfeacle on Saturday 12th April from 10am. Finalists will be notified by Saturday 5th April. We encourage everyone to come out and support!
Spring Leagues 2025
The league finals are just around the corner on Friday, 25th April. The next league is scheduled for September with the format to be decided.
Celebrating 40 Years of KCTC
2025 is a milestone year for us as we celebrate the club's 40th anniversary. Join us for the celebrations on Sunday evening 4th May. Stay tuned for more details!
Introducing KC, Your New AI Assistant
We're excited to announce that KC, the new AI assistant for KCTC, is now available 24/7 on the KCTC website. KC can answer any queries you might have about leagues, membership, coaching, how to top up the lights, and much more. KC is here to assist you at any time, making it easier for you to get the information you need quickly and efficiently.
Court 3 Resurfacing
We are delighted to announce that a contractor has been selected for the resurfacing of Court 3 and this update will be scheduled in the coming months, with exact dates to be confirmed.
Easter Camp 2025
Details about our Kids Easter Camp are available at https://kilfeacletennis.ie/eastercamp/ and limited places are available.
Coaching Sessions
Our ongoing coaching sessions for both kids and adults continue with our coaches, Claire, Bryan, and William. Don't forget, Saturday Men’s and Women’s Hitting Sessions are available to book individually at short notice. Social Tennis
Get ready for a new season of Social Tennis starting in late May. It's a great way to meet other members and enjoy some friendly games. Further details to follow.
WhatsApp Groups
Stay connected through our WhatsApp groups: "Men's Up for the Match," "Women's Up for a Match," and "Mixed Up for the Match." These groups are a fantastic way to arrange matches with other members on short notice. These groups can be joined from the Main KCTC Whatsapp community.
The Kilfeacle Mixed Open,
KCTC will again host a Tennis Ireland Tour 200 Mixed event that will take place from the 30th April to the 4th May over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Registration for this event opens on the 29th March 2025, so mark your calendars! More details at https://kilfeacletennis.ie/mixed/

Larkspur Tennis Club Open Week
Following on soon after our own Mixed event, our friends at Larkspur Park Tennis Club in Cashel are hosting their Open Week from 13th to 24th May 2025. The event is open to players of all skill levels, including beginners. Register through online tournament software.
KCTC Summer Ladders
We're thrilled to announce that a new series of KCTC tennis ladders, similar to the GVTC but for KCTC members only, will kick off from the 1st June 2025 onwards. This ladder event will be wrapped up at the end of August with a BBQ. Get ready for some fantastic tennis action this summer. More details to follow.
Membership Renewal Reminder
As we continue to grow and improve our club, please remember that membership renewal was due on 1st February. We rely on your support and prompt renewal to maintain and enhance our facilities and club offerings. Membership can be renewed at https://kilfeacletennis.ie/membership
